Description
Violin Concerto KAIROS exists of three movements: I Kairos, II Panta rhei and III Ananke, each of which can be performed as concert piece itself, but also all three together as the complete concert. "How high for the ancient Greeks their gods may have stood, yet the sages of those days knew an even higher, mysterious principle, to which they even thought their gods subordinate: Ananke (Gr.), Necessity. The highest spiritual ordering principle in man and in all life." (Bô Yin Râ) Is similar to the cosmic Order - Rta (Sanskrit) - in Vedic mythology. The music (A) starts violently and full of life in F maj., then changes into a canon-like ballad (B) of the violin: ad libitum followed by a Kadenza (C) in which elements from I Kairos and II Panta rhei. Ananke ends with the repeat of (A).
